To Be Determined.
Our family's future is, once again, up in the air. We've toyed with the idea of selling our house and relocating for some time now. That has been set in stone. We will be moving. The location and surrounding circumstances is what's yet to be determined.
At one point, we had thought to move to a different house yet stay within our current school district. That seemed to be the easiest for the kids.
Then it was thought that a little bit bigger town in the neighboring school district would provide more opportunities, job-wise, yet still allow the kids to stay close to their friends. A happy medium, if you will.
Next was the thought of buying Randy's parent's business and relocating to the NW suburbs of the Cities. This would bring about greater finacial prospects, more opportunities for fun in places like the zoo and museums, as well as bringing us closer in proximity to Grandma and Grandpa Visser and Aunt Natalie. It would also, of course, take the kids over 2 hours away from their current friends, as well as Grandma and Grandpa Hennen and the only 'home' they've ever known. We were going full speed ahead with this scenerio for quite a while but have since put it on the back burner.
We're back to Square One. We have another potential town in mind. It would only be 30 minutes away from where we live now. It's a much larger town than what we currently live in, providing us with many more oportunities for fun and leisure. We're very familiar with this town, as we do all our shopping there, and the school system is quite good.
All seems 'right' with a move to this town except one thing. A job. Randy is itching to get out of the construction field and into something less physically demanding. I can't blame him. We're keeping our eyes and ears open for any job opportunities in the area, hoping for the right one to come along. Until then, our family's future is still TBD.
