That was Then....

I've been absent from the wide world of blogging. Life happened and I had to put a few things~ like blogging, watching Tv that isn't animated and sanity~ on the back burner. Now that the school year is well underway and the rush of the holidays are over I'm slowly getting that elusive free time back, albeit after I get the kiddos in bed and my brain is foggy from the long day. Hey- like most moms, I'll take whatever free time I can get, whenever I can get it.

That leads me to the title of this entry: *That was Then*. My last entry was dated (embarrassingly enough) July 4th. That was then.

And this is now.

The most noticeable change between *then* and *now* is the weather. *Then* we had much more pleasant weather, seeing it was summer and all. *Now* the weather is a bit more unpleasant, seeing as though it's mid-winter in Minnesota. This morning we awoke to -20*, which was actually 10* or so warmer than it has been recent nights.(I'm trying to remember why I choose to live here?!)

The frigid temperatures haven't deterred the kids from outside play, though. They are much more brave than their mom and have even gotten all dressed and gone outside in -3* to play in the wonderland that is winter. Kudos to them....but I'll stay right here in my climate controlled house, thankyouverymuch.
