She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not.....

Can't you just picture Mother Nature plucking soft petals off a beautiful daisy, one by one? In my imagination it's a pink daisy.

(Hey, I can imagine whatever color I want- it's my mind AND my blog.)

On the days that Mother Nature loves me she allows me to bask in beautiful spring-like weather. You know the kind: plenty of sunshine, temps around 60* and a slight breeze. She seems very stingy with these types of days.

On the days that she loves me not she makes me suffer through....*ahem*....gives me cold, gray, windy days. She seems ever-so-happy to hand out these types of days, teasing us dumb....*ahem*....hardy Minnesotans with a few sunny/warm days then slamming us back into the reality that nobody else outside of Minnesota can quite appreciate. I wholeheartedly believe that Mother Nature gets a helluva price cut on those yucky days and finds herself with a surplus come spring.

But....what can you do?

It is what it is.

You gotta take the good with the bad.

For better or worse, till death do us part.

Make hay while the sun shines.

So that's exactly what us dumb......*ahem (again)*....hardy Minnesotans do. The sunny/warm days finds hoards of people crawling out from under their rocks. And then we crawl right back in for another week or so, until Mother Nature loves us again.
