Headless Snowman

Winter in Minnesota usually throws pretty nasty stuff our way; boatloads of snow, ice, freezing rain, temperatures that wouldn't even be fit for a polar bear. But, around the end of January, Mother Nature takes pity on us and hands out a well deserved, and much appreciated, January thaw. Of course this is only a tease, as native Minnesotans are fully aware that she'll toss Old Man Winter right back at us for a few more months. We just gotta take it as it comes.

The kids made a giant snowman earlier this winter. It stood almost 5 feet high. However, as happens when we age, it's been getting smaller & smaller. Not only is it diminishing in size but it seems to have gotten mad enough at the freezing temperatures of late and completely lost it's head!
