I have no pictures so you'll have to use your imagination, and trust me when I say the situation was beyond laughable.
Act 1, Scene 1:
Setting: Living room
It was shortly after 12:30pm and Andrew, full from lunch, was wearing down. Mom saw this steady decline and decided it was naptime. Andrew was less than pleased with this turn of events as he was engrossed in watching Elmo master putting on a jacket. Nevertheless, Mom found a way to make Andrew giggle and follow her up the stairs to the bathroom.
Act 1, Scene 2:
Setting: Master bathroom
Andrew, although reluctantly, agreed to sit on the potty in Mom's bathroom. His giggly mood on the way up the stairs had dissipated when he realized exactly what he was in for. Now he had taken on a bit of a cranky streak and was bouncing around on the toilet. When warned that he needed to sit still or run the risk of falling off Andrew pointed, angrily, to the bathroom door and told Mom to leave him to his business. Against her better judgement, knowing full well what that certain 4 year old can do to a roll of toilet paper, Mom stepped out to give some privacy. She decided to ready the bed for Andrew's upcoming nap. While pulling back the down-filled comforter Mom heard a strange 'splash' of water. It was a faint, yet worrisome, sound. Mom rushed to the bathroom, wondering what had caused that 'splash'.
The answer presented itself immediately. She saw her son's feet sticking up in the air by his head. In his bouncing he had not fallen off, as Mom predicted, he had fallen IN. The look on Andrew's face was a mixture of panic and confusion. How did Mom know something like this would happen if he continued to bounce around on the toilet?
The all-knowing Mom did what she always does in times like this. She assessed the situation and, when it was determined that there was no immediate danger, she took off in a flash to grab her camera. Through the hall, down the stairs, across the kitchen. She grabbed the camera and pressed the power button as she flew back across the kitchen, up the stairs, through the hall and around the corner into the bathroom. Unfortunately, Mom wasn't the only smart one. By the time Mom had retrieved the camera & got back to the scene Andrew had figured out how to pull himself out of his watery hole.
