In order to successfully get your child to take a nap you must adhere to certain steps. The first, and by far most important, step is going potty. This is the start of the whole process. You simply do not want to miss this step. It has strong opportunity to bring about dire consequences if neglected. Here I am, showing you how to perform this first step:

Of course, you must always err on the side of caution when dealing with sanitary issues. Make sure you wipe your child well and finish by washing hands with warm water and soap:

The first 2 steps are the most critical. However, the next set of steps can be quite long and, at times, frustrating. You start off by coaxing your child into bed. You may have to beg and plead. You may have to promise and bargain. Or, you could get lucky and the child will go willingly, although that is a rarity:

Please make sure that you cover your child properly. It's always important to have the child warm and cozy:

Position yourself next to your child in the bed, snuggling up to give them a sense of love and security. You must struggle to keep yourself awake at this point. A few minutes later, however, despite your best intentions, you fall fast asleep while your child lays next to you wide awake. This is just how things go and there's really not much you can do about it:

About 1.5 to 2 hours later, after your unexpected slumber, you emerge from the bedroom ready to take on the world. Atleast for another few hours:
